Perspective on Problems
Good evening. I am asked on a regular basis, "De Rah I have so many problems in my life. I have so many things wrong. I am injured and I need healing. If I could just get past these problems, I could work on my spiritual contract." I bring to you tonight Dear Ones -- those problems ARE your contract!

I would like to speak to you a bit about what you call problems and we think of as tests. Tonight I will address three main points of interest.

Number one, each and every one of you has problems. Each and every one of you is undergoing tests.

Number two, the half life of any test is directly proportional to the perspective of the recipient.

Third, within every test is a wonderful amount of creative potential.

Each of you has problems. Each of you is being tested. The idea of a life without problems is a part of the illusion. Those people who pursue a life without problems pursue an impossible dream. A test should be regarded as a gift. The greater the test, the greater is the gift that is given. You are thinking, "Who gives us this gift?" I will tell you, you give it to yourself. It is a gift from you to you for the purpose of growth.
"But, I might fail the test. If I have given myself this gift what happens if I fail?" LISTEN NOW. HEAR ME. Failure is not part of Natural Law. To fail a test is incompatible with Natural Law!

Well, so much for your fear of failure. All gone! Poof!

"But, I'm not sure I like the tests." You asked for them. You planned them. You very carefully brought them to bear on yourself and you CAN NOT fail. The only thing that you can do is reject the test. If you reject the test you have rejected the gift that you have brought to yourself, and you have negated your incarnation because you have rejected your own divinity. You have rejected the Source within you.

Do you envy those people who seem to breeze through life and are not troubled by the little things? Their tests are deeper. They breeze by the little things in life so that they have more time to work on harder, deeper tests.

A test, or a problem in your language, is what keeps you energized. It's what keeps you moving forward. A life without problems would be boring indeed. Accept, then, that everyone is tested. Accept, then, that everyone has problems and let us move to point number two.

The half-life of a problem is directly proportional to the perception of the recipient. We see problems as cyclical. There are certain things in every age that are constant problems: unemployment, lack of money, lack of self-esteem, loss of love, death of a loved one, loss of relationship. These are all constant problems. They are the problems and tests that go with the world you have chosen to incarnate upon. From our vantage point we see these as cyclical. They are always there. The good news is you see them as linear.

Let us imagine a problem or a test as being a mountain, and you would like to get to the village on the other side of the mountain. You learn climbing. You get yourself in good physical shape. You save enough money, food and provisions and you set out. It is a long and difficult climb. Finally, at long last you reach the top of your mountain. From that vantage point you can readily see the village on the other side. Going down the mountain to the village is a fairly straightforward process. So you see that when you approach a problem or test you only have to conquer half of it. Isn't that good news? You only have to get to the top because going down is easy. That's why we think of problems as having a half-life and a very limited one, since your time moves in a linear fashion.

Your problems do not last very long. They may come back to you in the next life. You may have already worked with it in a past life. This time around they will not stay very long, they have a limited half-life. As soon as you get to the top of the hill you may look around and see both the problem that you have conquered and the destination ahead.

As you perceive a problem how tall do you perceive it? Is it a small hill? Is it a high mountain? Is it merely a sidewalk to cross? If you elevate your vibration and you elevate your ideas many of your small problems become nonexistent since you are already above the top of their hill. One of the little recognized things in your world -- all problems are spiritual. Meditate on that: all problems are spiritual.

They may manifest physically, emotionally, financially, politically, but all problems are spiritual. How could it be otherwise? You are in fact a Spirit having a physical experience. Therefore for an experience to register, for an experience to be relevant, it must of necessity be spiritual.

Number three, within each test is a wealth of opportunity for creative potential. A problem is filled with creative potential. Every single test, every single problem, every single thing that you look at in your life and say "I wish I could change this", is filled to the brim and overflowing with creative potential.

First of all allow us to define creativity as a re-alignment of known concepts and methods to form what has been an unknown concept or method. From that definition let us go back to the time before you incarnated. As you sat with your guides and your spiritual advisors you looked over your life and your lives and you said, "This is what I would like to do." Then you went back into your past lives and you found those things that you could bring that would help you accomplish those goals. You did not come into the battle unarmed. You came in with a full toolbox. You brought all kinds of concepts, all kinds of methods. You brought all of this past experience with you so that you could deal with your current problems and your current tests.

Now you are thinking, "I can reach into the toolbox pull out a tool and say, this is what it will take. This is what will change it. This is what will make it right. This is what will make the problem go away." The answer is -- No.

You already learned how to use that tool. You need to pull out several tools, several concepts, several methods, and combine them to create something new, which then allows you to dissipate the problem. That is called growth. You do that on almost a daily basis without thinking of it.

If any of you have ever made a cake, if any of you have ever built something from a kit, if any of you have ever taken the raw ingredients of something and combined them to make something else you have done this technique. What you brought with you are the raw ingredients. Make yourself a cake!

As you conquer a problem then what do you do? If I may back up to my analogy of the person climbing the mountain, when you get to the top of your hill and you see the village on the other side, the village will usually be located down in a valley. At the top of the hill, at the end of a problem, you will find that the road forks. One part of the road will go down into the village. One part of the road will go to the next highest peak. What do you want to do with your creative potential? Do you want to solve a problem and then drift back down into the valley where later on that problem will come back again? Or, do you wish to leave it in the dust and move on to the next highest peak, always growing, always changing, always raising your vibration, always becoming closer to Spirit?

The wonderful thing about your incarnation \endash you have the ability to choose. I will end this discussion at this time and return to it later. I would like to leave you with the following vibration -- I Am Om. Goodnight.

Part Two

Good evening. A bit of review if you do not mind. Everyone has problems. You come into a physical body that you may experience problems. If you didn't want problems you should have stayed on the other side. The physical body is your best teacher and the physical and emotional bodies are where most of the problems arise. They get your attention that way. If you are working on spiritual development you may also be confronted at times with special spiritual problems. A spiritual problem will impact ALL of the energetic bodies.

Point number two, the severity of a problem is totally in the perception of the recipient. A man with a hundred dollars in his pocket when presented with a bill for ten dollars regards it as a nuisance. When presented with a bill for five hundred dollars he regards it as a problem. The only difference is the perception.

In other words you create your problems. You influence their severity. You allow them to be big problems or to be mere annoyances. The energetic amount of the problem is the same. Your perception of it gives it more energy or takes energy away from it. Your perception of the bill adds energy or subtracts energy so your problem is directly related to your perception of it. Please remember that problems have a half-life. Once you get to the top of the hill the problem disappears and the way is now clear. You only need to solve half of the problem.

Point number three: Within every problem there is an amazing amount of creative potential. We define creativity if you remember as the combination of known concepts to form what was here-to-fore an unknown concept. You do not bring things directly out of the air. You bring known concepts together to form something brand new.

The tools, the equipment that you have brought with you are used to form another tool that allows you to work with the current problem. Think of yourself as a machine shop that has received a contract to build a brand new part. They use the tools at hand to build the tools to make the new part. That is called creativity. You use the emotional, spiritual and physical tools that you brought in to this life in order to grow and change and affect a creative solution to your tests and your trials. Now I continue...

Point number four: a test changes you forever. Literally, on a physical basis the cellular structure of your body may change while you are undergoing a test or challenge. Tests and challenges that go on too long or are given energy by your emotional body can literally change the cellular structure of your physical body resulting in disease.

On a mental level, the way the nerves within your brain connect are forever changed by a problem. New connections are formed old connections are deserted. Literally new material is being generated.

Within the endocrine systems of your body problems bring about changes in hormonal balances. Thyroxin, adrenaline, these are released and they change the balance of your endocrine system allowing you to respond whether it is necessary or not.

Every time you confront a problem no matter how large or how small, (remember largeness and smallness is within your perception only) the energy of the problem is consistent. When you confront a problem, large or small, you are creating physical changes within the body. You are literally never the same again. A problem changes you forever.

Point number five is the good news. You get to select the change. You get to choose. A problem changes you forever, but you get to choose the change. You get to decide. What kind of a change do you want? Do you want a good change? What type of change will work for you?

The change that you are looking for is the change based on forward momentum. It is based on growth. It is based on moving forward. If you construct enough of these small changes to allow yourself to be carried on a path of growth, the momentum of that change allows you to ride over small things that may come up along the way. Put another way: get in the habit of succeeding. Get in the habit of acting positively. Get in the habit of acting from love and from growth and from sharing.

Success is your spiritual right. Now there is an amazing concept! It goes against everything you have been taught from the time you were born and yet I tell you, in all love and in all truth, success is your right. Spiritually, emotionally, physically, success is your right.

Every great teacher on your planet has told you that within you dwells a piece of God. You are part and parcel of the Source and the Source does nothing but succeed!

You have had to work very hard at not succeeding and most people on your planet are doing it very well. You have been convinced by others that success is somehow wrong or success is somehow only for others, or success comes with all kind or religious strings.

Success is your birthright. You are children of the Source. You are part of the Source. Success is your birthright! You are not unworthy. You are not born into sin. You do not require salvation. You are a part of the Source!

Success is the energy that you brought to the planet with you. It is really hard to turn your back on success. Most of you can't do it. You still succeed in one way or another. Look at these small successes and build on them. Look at people who have gone before and say, "If they can, I can." Look at your problems from a new perspective, a new dimension. Step outside of them.

One thing I will tell you, your problems have a limited life. You live forever. Given that perspective, in a hundred years does it matter whether or not you paid the bill?

A few of you are now thinking,"But I won't be here in a hundred years and it matters by the end of the month." So, let's not move to a hundred years. Move to ten years. Move to five years. You should have a minimum of a three-year plan for where you want to be, for what your life should become, for the successes that will register in your life. You should have a minimum of a three-year plan.

Don't allow yourself to be panicked. Don't allow yourself to be pushed. Don't allow yourself to be in fear. You don't get anywhere that way. Do you remember when I spoke to you of the amusement park? Fear is like riding the ferris wheel -- it keeps you occupied but you don't go anywhere!

Do not allow fear or worry. These have their own energies. They add to the problem and it changes your result. Remember you control the experience that you get. Will it be growth? Will you expand spiritually and physically and emotionally? Will you become bigger and better than before? Will you become more of a success than before?

In ancient days in your world the steel for weapons was folded and heated and beaten, and folded and heated and beaten, again and again and again, until a beautiful tempered piece of steel resulted. Your problems your tests and your challenges fold you and beat you and temper you. We would like you not to lose your temper with your problems. A tempered piece of steel is a wonder to behold. A tempered human is a wonder to behold.

Point number six, the response to your problems may be positive or negative. Positive or negative is your description. Spiritually a positive solution is always in love and in growth and in service. A negative response is always in fear and worry and apprehension. If you pay your bill because you are afraid of what will happen if you don't that is a negative response. That changes what you have received from your problem.

If you pay your bill because in paying the bill you are honoring your word, you are helping to pay the salaries of those people who receive that bill, then you are serving. That is a positive. That changes your experience to a positive one.

Do you see? The physical action is the same. The intent that goes with that physical action or the reason for that physical action is what determines whether or not your response is positive. Therefore it determines what you have derived from the test.

A test that is brought to you and receives a positive response, when it returns as it undoubtedly does, you've already been there. You've already done that. You already know how to handle it. It is not a problem anymore. In other words you have grown past it.

If your response is negative, when it comes back again it is, "Oh my! Not this again! I don't know how to handle it!"

This is a time on your planet of choice. This is a time of growth. This is a time of increased energy. Choose wisely. Do you grow from your problems? Do you grow in love? Do you grow in service? That is surely the way those of you on The Path will choose.

I would like a moment now as the entities that I have brought with me circulate through the room and bring healing. Feel yourself surrounded by energy. Feel yourself surrounded by healing. Feel the love of your guides and teachers as they move close to you, bringing from me love, healing, the utmost in honor and respect. You are part and parcel of the Source. You are part and parcel of a success energy, of a healing energy, and of the energy of growth and change for love. We honor you and we love you. Goodnight.
