I Think I am
Good evening. You had a visual apport as I entered your room. (A light flashed on) It has been said by many of your thinkers, “I think, therefore I am.” On our side we rephrase that as I think I am, I think I am, I think I am. (Laughter) You are not you just because you think. You are just you because you are.
Thinking is what you do way too much of. Most humans are so busy thinking about their life they never live it. You analyze your life. You break your life down into small pieces. You write interminable lists. It has even been said that a life unanalyzed is not worth living.
If all you do while you’re living is analyze your life, that’s not living. The idea of being able to bring life through thought permeates your society and allows you to express the illusion of separation. What would happen if one of your esteemed thinkers thought not? Would they at that moment cease to be?
You are a composite of energy systems and the thought process is not one of those systems. The thought process is in fact a byproduct of those systems.
(An electrical storm interrupted this session. Contact resumed the following Friday evening)
On our last visit I was speaking of thinking and you were thinking that I was thinking that you thought too much. (Laughter) At least I think that’s what you were thinking!
You think constantly but you don’t do it well. You think you do it well. Recall for a moment, (I won’t ask you to think) recall for a moment how much information is presented to you on a daily basis. You live in what is referred to as the information age but information is not knowledge. Information is just information. If information were knowledge my friend’s computer could fix itself. You are surrounded on a daily basis with so much information it is difficult for you to think. Your televisions are on constantly to provide some type of background amusement. As you ride in the car your radios are on. Silence for most of your civilization is abhorrent - frightening - to sit, to be still, and to actually think. Good heavens I can’t do that! I don’t even know how!
If you’re not thinking then what are you doing? Well, there are in fact, three types of thought. The first we shall label dogmatic. Dogmatic thought is that thought that comes from fear. It is that thought that says, “I’m right. I know I’m right and nothing you say will ever convince me that I’m not right. If I’m right you have to be wrong unless you think exactly the same way I do, in which case we are both right.”
Dogmatic thought is responsible for what you are referring to as 9-11. Dogmatic thought is fundamentalism in all of its shapes and variety. Dogmatic thought comes from fear.
Have you noticed in your world the only churches that are growing are those churches that respond to the Bible as a literal thing, and those churches like the fellowship that I am in that don’t respond to it at all? The main-line churches are slowly dying since they neither work with fear nor are connected to Spirit.
Those dogmatic people who will tell you that the Bible should be taken literally have the same mentality as those people who ran an airplane into a building, merely a different set of scripture.
The second type of thought, very popular in your new age community, can be best described as Live and Let Live. Now this sounds like a wonderful idea. It respects everyone’s belief. It allows everyone to act in accordance with their own belief. It is almost free from fear. It sounds like an absolutely wonderful philosophy until you take it several steps further. The logical extension of that train of thought would indicate that as everyone is entitled to do their own thing you may therefore have no objections to a Hitler, or you may have no praise for a Gandhi, since both of them are merely doing what they believe. This form of thought is however a major step up from the dogmatic form.
We would like you to move however, one step further into Creative thought. In the beginning you created. In the beginning we created. In the beginning the Source created. As a sentient being creation is normal. Move to creative thought. Move to positive thought. Move to Spirit connected thought. Move to a knowledge of oneness.
Everything that can happen has already happened. Everything that can be has already been. You just need to reach out into Spirit and tap it. Much as your ego would like to tell you that you are unique some place, on some world, someone has had exactly your experience or very close. Somewhere on your world at this moment at least a thousand people are going through exactly what you are going through. That information is there for you by tuning into Spirit. You can find out what works, what doesn’t work and how to apply it. Move to creative thought.
Here are a few thoughts on thinking. First of all think longer. Think for a longer time span. In your culture, in your society, you would like to have things immediately. Put together a plan for the next year, the next two years, the next five years. There are parts of your world where people think in terms of hundred year plans to be carried out by generations of a family. Allow yourself the time to get something done.
Think bigger. Think larger. Nothing is impossible if you come across it at the right time. Nothing is impossible. Don’t limit yourself. Dream a big dream and then believe in that dream. Believe in your ability to accomplish that dream. As I have told you before, success is your birthright. Dream a big dream. Believe in the dream. Believe that you can accomplish the dream. If you wait to see it you never will. If you believe it you will see it.
Think how your dream can help others. If you concentrate totally on yourself you negate your Spirit. Your Spirit is loving. Your Spirit is giving. Your Spirit is generous. Your Spirit looks out for others. How will your dream help others? How can your dream use others to its completion? How do others benefit from your dream? In the history of your world your most successful people have become that way by the amount of help they have given to others. They provide jobs and support. The more people they can help the more successful they become.
To accomplish your dreams write a list of ten things you can do to help make your dream come true. They may be very silly things or serious things just write them down. This becomes a part of you. It kick starts the energy to make the dream come true.
Successful people share with others. Don’t let the negativity of others get in your way or block your dreams. Don’t listen to those who say, “It can’t be done.” Associate with positive people not negative people. If a negative is given to you combine it with a positive to elevate the negative into Love. This creates a dynamic that is very helpful to you and to others. There will be more on this later.
Several questions have come up since our last meeting. Someone said to my friend, “I feel De Rah’s presence when I am not here. (Outside the Fellowship meeting) That is as it should be. I would be a very poor guidance counselor if my energy left your guides as soon as you left this space. Your guides and your teachers may connect to my energy as they need to for your benefit. My messages however are limited to “family” as it were. My friend Ja Rah and his mate Rish Rah are part of my family. They are in fact the only two incarnated on your planet at this time.
I will bring all of you love. I will bring all of you healing. I will even bring you hugs. I will speak only through them. Our energies are compatible and it makes for a very good connection. I instruct your guides. I energize your guides. I bring information to your guides. I hope that clarifies.
In answer to another question, it is never too late for you to become the person you always knew you could be. It is never too late for you to become the person you always knew you could be.
There is on your world a story of a rather prosperous farmer whose son, while out playing one day, found an egg and brought it back and showed it proudly to his father. It was a rather large egg. His father who raised both chickens and geese had not seen one exactly like it, but it was approximately the size of a goose egg, so he went to the nearest goose and inserted it into the nest. Several days later as the eggs hatched the farmer and his family got a great deal of joy from watching the small birds following the mother bird. At the end of the procession however, there was one very ugly bird. It didn't have webbed feet. It had bony feet with claws. It didn't have a nice beak; it had a curved hook. It didn't have soft white down; it had mottled ugly feathers and it followed at the end of the line.
Weeks pass and the mother goose teaches all of her young those things necessary to be a good goose. It becomes evident that the ugly bird instead of speaking like a goose screams and cries out, making sounds foreign to the barnyard. The horses and the cows even shy away from this ugly bird.
Several more weeks pass. The ugly bird is perched on top of a fence rail watching the mother goose, when from the sky a cry that matches that of the ugly bird is heard and an eagle swoops down. The ugly bird, recognizing its own kind, starts flapping its wings and lifts itself off into the air to fly with its kind.
I tell you, you are eagles trying to be geese. You are raised by a well-intentioned parent. You are surrounded by well-intentioned friends and siblings, but you are an eagle and your feet will never be webbed. It is never too late to become the person that you know you can be!
Allow yourself to feel the healing that is being brought to you this evening. Allow yourself to feel the love. I leave you in peace. Good night.
