I Am Not A Human
Good evening. We welcome you to our last regularly scheduled conversation. Please note it is not our last conversation. Please allow the entities that I have brought with me to circulate among you bringing healing and peace and love and joy, providing you with energy and uplifting your spirit.
Many times I have been asked in one way or another, in one form or another, “De Rah why am I here?” This question is asked by humans who do not wish to be here, by humans who are delighted to be here, by humans who are puzzled how they got here in the first place, and by humans who have no intention of ever leaving. My answer to all of you is the same. You are here to be who you are and to become that which you are capable of becoming. That is the reason you are here.
The variations in humans come from being who you are and from becoming that which you may become. Within those two parameters there are of course endless variations.
“But, I’m not sure I should even ask why I should be here. I’m not sure I should ever ask you anything. I’m not sure I should ever question anything. I should just be here. Besides De Rah, the religion in which I was raised tells me it’s a sin to talk to you in the first place.” The “sin” my dear friends, is not asking! The “sin,” the “missing of the mark,” is not asking, not trying to become all that you can become and not even trying to find out who you are, so that you can be who you are.
The greatest problem that most people face in learning who they are and becoming that which they can become is the hurdle that we refer to as self-image. In your group you would think of it as ego. The way we use the term self-image it is both more and less than ego.
Self-image is the combination of your thoughts, your feelings, those things that you have heard, those things that you have spoken, and those things that you have seen. Some of that is admittedly what you would term ego, but self-image extends beyond that. It is both more inclusive than ego and less demanding.
Imagine for a moment that you are seated next to a very still pond. You lean over and you gaze into the pond. You see your reflection. Is that real? Well, it’s a real reflection. It’s not a real human, but it’s what you see of yourself that allows you to form your self-image.
When you hear yourself speak, if your voice is recorded and then you are allowed to listen to it, is that real? It is in fact a real recording. It is not however, you. My friend will tell you it does not even sound like him.
If you were to find a picture of an orange in a magazine would that be the orange? Take a bite and see. Yet your self-image is composed of the illusion of sight, smell, taste, vision and hearing. Those things form the illusion that along with your feelings and your ideas become your self-image.
How elusive is this self-image? Place yourself if you will back beside that pool of water and allow yourself to see the reflection. Then drop a pebble into the pool to see how elusive your self-image is.
There is so much of the pool unseen beneath the image of you and the image of you is of course an illusion that floats upon the uppermost surface of the pool. It holds no reality whatsoever. The pool itself is real.
That is the part that most humans never see. They are so concerned with the reflection they ignore the reality. My friend has in his mind a type of three-dimensional painting which when viewed from up close would seem to be a series of disconnected dots, but when viewed from a distance becomes an image.
Humans by their nature are wrapped up in the illusion of things. All of this that is happening around me keeps me from understanding who I am. All of these people, all of these sounds, all of these visual illusions keep me from understanding who I am and yet I am content with my non-understanding because I am unaware that there is a picture inside of all the dots. I have not stood at the proper location to discern the image from the visual clutter. I have not tuned myself to the proper frequency to hear Spirit from all of the sounds that are brought to me.
Did you notice in the last few sentences the use of the pronouns I and me? That sense of separation is what keeps you from understanding that the pool is real and the reflection is illusion, because you are in fact the pool and not the reflection.
The most difficult obstacle for you to overcome is your sense of self-image.
I have commented before on numbers and their meanings. I believe at this time I would give you several more to think about. The number three is thought of as being Spirit. In all ancient religions, in all ancient mythology the number three was always considered to be a sacred or a holy number. The Christian mythology of trinity comes from this holy number. It represents a basic understanding, part of the mystical knowledge that you brought with you as you spread out across this planet. The knowledge that you are in fact physical, mental and spiritual. You are of form, you are formless and you are beyond the need for physical form. At one time you created in your own image and you did so by allowing that which is beyond form, to manifest that which is in form and you breathed the breath of life, you breathed Spirit into your creation. As that information was brought to the religious and governmental leaders it was immediately hidden and became part of the mystery.
The number four has always represented physical form and some sort of stable organization. This comes from man-made structures that rest more solidly upon a four-sided base. So from antiquity the number four represented those things physical.
Do you understand how in a previous conversation the numbers seven and twelve are adaptations of those numbers three and four? You have seven stars within you, or star centers. You educated the peoples of the seven planets that they could see as a combination of those things spiritual and stable. Do you understand that the number twelve results from the manifestation of three and four? Several of you are thinking, “No, he means to multiply.” And I would ask you is that not to manifest?
Twelve symbols of the zodiac, twelve disciples, twelve followers after kings and princes and religious leaders, is the combination of the spiritual and the stable. As soon as that combination begins with the word “I” it is no longer stable.
Do you wonder why the number representing humans is a five? We consider that a normal expression of your self-image. Understand that is your major stumbling block to become who you are and to become all that you can become.
The next time you stand before a mirror and see your physical reflection say to yourself, “That is not a human.” Remind yourself that you are the entire pool not the surface reflection.
Allow a feeling of love and healing to go through you at this time. Allow the feeling of peace and tranquility and the harmony of Spirit to flood through you. I encourage you once again to look into that pool and understand that the pool is real not the reflection. In the service of love I bid you a fond good evening.
