The Model Train

The Model Train

Good evening. It is a pleasure to be with you once again. I would like to take just a moment as the entities I have brought with me move through you and around you. Please take a deep breath. Bring in the love and healing they bring to you this evening. As we progress through the evening they will be working with you and working with your guides. Many of your guides are changing and growing in their energy. You may feel that difference in your meditations as we bring to you love, as we bring to you energy, as we bring to you knowledge. Your guides learn, your guides grow, the better to work with you.

The question has been asked, "Do these entities of yours stay with us or with our guides when you are not here?" The answer is no, they leave with me, but the energy that we bring to you remains. The increase in energy, the healing energy that we bring to you, the knowledge and ability that we bring to your guides, remains.

The other question that is frequently asked is, "De Rah, we listen to your messages, we hear what you say, and yet how do we apply this? How do we make this part of our life? We have tried and we have tried for years and we still have not been able to make this part of our life." Tonight I would like to attempt to bring you some practical methods that you may use. These are brought in love and with great respect for the sacrifice that you are making by being here in body.

Imagine, if you will, a small child being given the present on your solstice celebration of a model train. As the child opens the box there are several things in the box. The child will grab for the train and begin pushing it across the floor, up and down the stairs, around the walls if his parents will let him, over the sofas, over the chairs. Mother and Dad will run along and say, "Wait a minute! Wait a minute! You have to put the train on the track!"

In the box is a certain amount of track that comes with the train. The child isn't sure why we need this "track", only that Mom and Dad said so. So where does the track go, and what is it good for? The child is told that the train runs upon the track. The child thinks, "That sounds like a good idea! If I have enough track, I can stretch it to the kitchen where the cookies are!" Once again Mom and Dad come to the "rescue." "No, you're not allowed to stretch it out like that. There is not enough track, you have to make it into circles or figure eights."

So the child dubiously, with the help of the parents, makes figure eights or circles from the track and allows the train to go around and around and around. What lesson has just been taught to the child? The parents are happy because the child is now contained. The toy is in the appropriate area for toys and the child is playing contentedly, but what has the child learned?

First of all, the child has learned LACK - there is not enough track. Secondly the child has learned that freedom must be controlled and contained and put on the rails. Thirdly the child has learned that freedom is unacceptable if it clutters up someone else's environment. It is much better to sit in the center of the circle and allow the train to go around and around and around.

The child grows and these lessons have been learned. We may now compare the grown child with the train itself. It is a wonderful story but how does it apply? How do you change the train of your life? Why doesn't it change? Why doesn't it go somewhere else?

First of all you are subject to the Law of Momentum. The Law of Momentum states that once energy is given to a project it will continue to expand until the energy is withdrawn or the project is completed. Once the train of your life or your existence is in motion it develops a life of its own. It develops a momentum.

Secondly, you are subject to the Law of Mass. As you add freight cars to your train it becomes larger, the momentum builds, there is more baggage that you are carrying. That baggage forces you down the track. The baggage builds mass that increases your momentum.

On your world it sometimes takes a mile or more for a freight train to stop after the brakes have been applied. The combination of mass and momentum make it very hard to stop and make it very difficult to control. Even if you begin to put the brakes on what you are doing, you are still going to move forward. You are still going to move along the same path because your momentum is built up that way. Oh, I hear you thinking, "That's easy, I'll just turn."

When a train comes to a crossing can it make a right turn? Of course not! It goes straight through the crossing and straight down the track. If you want it to go in a different direction how do you re-route the train? You re-route it in gradual stages, in very small movements, in a curve or an arc, in a gentle bend. You would, after all, not wish to disturb the passengers in the dinning car!

For the train to move even ninety degrees from where it is, will take at least eleven small adjustments in direction. For your life to move ninety degrees it will take at least eleven small adjustments in direction. At this point I can hear you thinking, "Why eleven?" Because no adjustment may be more than nine degrees. Nine after all is the number of completion. Have you noticed in your circles and your compasses that your major directional points of forty-five degrees, ninety degrees, one hundred eighty degrees and three hundred sixty degrees are all nines? Do you really believe that is accidental?

To move beyond a nine degree arc in any given change is to pull the mass and momentum in such a way that you derail your train. On a human basis this is a major life crisis, a death in the family, a divorce, financial ruin. It is a major life crisis. It may also result in a near death experience. You have "derailed your train."

When you move past nine degrees of arc you immediately move into something new without eliminating something old. Something old crashes.

So what can you do? Is there a practical way to work with this? There are several avenues that I would suggest to you. First of all, to change your life put on the brakes. Yes, it takes a great deal of time, it takes a great deal of distance to slow down, but start by putting on the brakes. The next thing that you may do is lighten the burden that you are pulling, eliminate the baggage that you are carrying. Cut loose the freight cars that are adding to the mass and momentum of your train. You are done with them you don't need to drag them along with you!

You may also stop experiencing lack. When you think to yourself, "I can not do this because..." whatever follows the word 'because' is a statement of lack. There is a lot of that in your language. The child told that there is not enough track to reach the cookies will instinctively take track from behind the train and place it in front of the train. Translation -- get rid of the energy that you are exxpending on things that you have already passed, that you have already run over, that you are already finished with, and put that energy in front of you in the direction you wish to go.

Most of you, due to past training, would feel very uncomfortable with a straight line of track since you have been told to make circles from it, so indeed, make circles and make them connect, make them grow and spiral upward! Spend less attention on what's immediately in front of you and spend more attention on where you are going. The easiest way for a train to get up a mountain is if the track goes around it!

Think for a moment of the small child with the track and the train. Let's envision another ending. As Mom and Dad say, "You have to make that into circles," the child thinks for a moment, says, "Okay," and builds a spiral that goes to the roof of the house as his parents stand in wonder!

Tonight you are where you belong. You are where you have asked to be. You stood in line to get here, to be on this planet at this time to help others with their spiral upward, to help others build their energetic bodies, to help others grow. You are also here to remember who you are and what you are. We stand in awe and wonder of the sacrifice that you have made by allowing yourself to come here and forget. Try not to get sidetracked! (A little cosmic humor)

These are practical applications that you may do, that you may begin at once, that you may share with others. I am pleased that our audience is increasing. (web site) This message should be brought to many more people. I thank you for your attention. I thank you for your energy. I leave you in love.

Commentary

What can we do to redirect the train of our life? Put on the brakes! If you are in a position that makes you unhappy -- change it! You may spend weeks or months looking for a new job. You may need to spend years in school to prepare yourself for a new position. You may need professional counseling to reconcile relationship problems. It takes time, but if you don't take ACTION change will never happen.

Eliminate the baggage! Stop worrying about things you can't control. Don't dwell on the past, you can't change it. Use the energy you would spend worrying about the past on planning the future.

Stop saying, "I can not do this because..." Instead of thinking up reasons for potential failure, focus on the positive. Tell yourself "I can do this!" Start using your energy to begin making the eleven small changes necessary to accomplish your goals. Remember that the easiest way to tackle a problem is to work your way around it from the edges.

We would appreciate it if the answers to the following questions were included in tonight's lesson.

Question: While Steve was preparing for this evening's session, he felt there was more in-depth information available about circles, directions and nines. Could you elaborate please?

Answer: The circle is a symbol of the cyclical nature of Spirit, therefore the cyclical nature of humans. There are certain scientific laws, there are certain natural laws, there are certain spiritual laws, and they differ only in the wording. The circle has been, for humans, the sign that Spirit exists. The proper usage of the artifact hanging behind my friend (a cross, which is no longer there) should have a circle. A circle symbolizes the cycles that you know as astrology. The cross within the circle symbolizes the solstices and the equinoxes. The cross and the circle were used for thousands of years before the artifact in back of my friend.

At the point where the cross is centered within the circle, that point represents the Source. On the outer edge of the circle, the circle itself is divided into twelve sections or houses, indeed there are "many mansions." These houses are broken down into ten degrees, and ten degrees, and ten degrees making thirty degrees within a house. Each ten-degree increment within a house represents a new beginning of a chapter within that house, or a room within that house. Each nine degrees represents the end of a particular energy or stepping out of that particular room in the house. Your astrologers refer to the space between the ninth and the first degree as a cusp. It is in fact the doorway between rooms within a house . Your circle and the compass points within your circle represent that ancient knowledge. To move from one point to another represents the end of one energy and the beginning of a new energy. Your main compass points of ninety, one hundred eighty, two hundred seventy, and three hundred sixty degrees, represent equinoxes and solstices. You have one of these coming up fairly soon.

Question: What is the nature of the Love we are told to base everything on?

Answer: Oh your language is so interesting! To learn to speak on this planet is to trap yourself! (laughter from group) The love that is spoken of by humans is divided into several categories, mostly physical love. Since you are in physical bodies you relate everything to physical sensations, therefore love becomes a physical thing for you. More enlightened humans refer to unconditional love. That means to them that they are to love everyone, or not to put conditions up on the love. Your use of the word love is a human condition based on the idea or illusion of separation.

Do you in fact "love" your left arm? How about the large toe on your right foot? Do you even think about them? They are accepted as part of you without thought, without judgement, without guilt, without shame. They are simply part of the whole.

When we in Spirit refer to "love" it is a poor use of your word, but it is one of the few words you have. We refer to it as an acceptance that there is no separation. You unconditionally love your left thumb, you unconditionally love your right earlobe. You simply accept it as part of the whole. Within your language that may be the best description available at this time.

Question: We hear stories of people who perform feats of strength in a crisis, like lifting a car. Does this involve the temporary suspension of a belief ?

Answer: Your beliefs are of course your boundaries, and you do love your boundaries! You go to great lengths to set boundaries. You tell yourself in almost every breath that you take what you can and can not do, and sometimes almost by magic, if I may use that term, you forget to tell yourself that and then you are capable of the most REMARKABLE things!
